North Salt Lake, UT 
The city of North Salt Lake, UT, is located in southern Davis County, just outside Salt Lake City and accessible by both I-15 and I-215. North Salt Lake covers a land area of 8.5 square miles, home to a population of more than 20,000 people.
Incorporated in 1946, North Salt Lake took its name from the small post office at the railroad tracks. The old Utah Highway Patrol weigh station was purchased and used as the original town hall, and the first local election was held in 1949. The new city hall was completed in 2010. North Salt Lake stretches from the Jordan River and Legacy Nature Preserve on the west side, across the highways to Eaglewood Golf Course on the east end.
