The city of Woods Cross, UT, is located in Davis County, north of Salt Lake City along Interstate 15 next to Bountiful. Woods Cross covers a land area of almost four square miles, home to a population of more than 11,000 people.
Woods Cross is named after Daniel Wood, a Mormon pioneer and early settler in the Utah Territory in the 19th century. Today, Woods Cross operates as a close-knit community, organizing a number of events and programs for residents of all ages. The city has one high school and two elementary schools, amid the smaller neighborhoods of Wood Estates and Meadow Crossing.
